Eight Ways From Mara - a multi-disciplinary, imaginative and visually compelling work that takes a fresh look at the ways we avoid life's misery by relating to three elemental forces - confusion, temptation and distraction. Distilled imagery and poetry from Buddhist philosophy and musings reflect on modern society to achieve a work of great richness evoking a spirituality that guides and inspires.
After the stunning debut of Frames in 2009, Zata Omm's artistic director William Yong returns to DanceWorks Mainstage with this unique and powerful creation.

"With his impressive first full-length work 'Frames', William Yong takes his place in the forefront of emerging dancesmiths. The imaginative blend of technology and choreography produces startling images that are a feast to the eye..." Paula Citron (Classical 96.3 fm)
