HOLOBIONT
BLUE CEILING DANCE
November 27-28, 2026
Toronto Heliconian Club
HOLOBIONT, created by Blue Ceiling dance with support from Yvonne Ng, explores the interconnection of many forms of life. Embodying particles to forests, neurons to migratory birds, HOLOBIONT adapts to each new environment it is performed in. The work is wild, peculiar and gentle. It flows through extreme slowness, toughness, speed and accidental beauty, tapping into the resourcefulness and resilience of nature, ever reforming and redesigning itself to survive and thrive through competition, through cooperation, through accidental encounters.
