SUMMER REEL IS BACK! Summer Reel 2023 will have two components:
SUMMER FEATURES – a selection of our top films from the past two seasons and SUMMER SHORTS – showcasing dance films up to 3 minutes in length, by Canadian artists, completed between May 2020 and May 2023.
SUMMER SHORTS films will be showcased on the DanceWorks website and social media channels for eight weeks. Applicants must have secured permission for music, and other licensing rights for online presentation. Artists whose films are selected will receive an honorarium of $500 CDN, and must sign a broadcast agreement with DanceWorks.
