Summer Reel: Windows Of Time by Andrea Nann

Windows of Time is a multi-city project produced by Dance Ontario in collaboration with Dreamwalker Dance Company.  Through intuitive movement the dancers access and open connective portals, crossing thresholds of time and space, to reconnect to themselves, one another, and nature.  Windows of Time was created during the summer and fall of 2021. It is a labour of love, resilience, community and above all else, hope.

Andrea Nann dances to reach across distance, to experience herself and others in celebration of possibility, diversity, connection and belonging. She channels her community building passion into unique, participatory, collaborative multi-arts experiences.

Henry Mak is a filmmaker and a schoolteacher with the Toronto District School Board. His work has screened at festivals such as Reelworld and the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival.

Donors are the heart of our season.

We acknowledge the Toronto/Tkaronto as One Dish One Spoon Indigenous territory. We honour the ancestral caretakers of this land: the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Wendat and most recently the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation who have a Treaty relationship with Canada. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work in their community, on this territory. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future.
